What about the PACE program is most exciting to you?
“PACE uses a proven model to care for frail populations, not just to meet medical needs, but to take away the strain of coordinating and ensuring continuity of specialists. PACE’s ability to ensure a smooth experience when navigating the complexities of older adult healthcare can make it a true blessing for participants and their families.”

Dr. Jerry Wilborn
Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
With 25 years of experience in the post-acute care industry, Dr. Wilborn will work alongside OSC’s medical directors to drive our clinical strategy and strong outcomes for our participants.
What about the PACE program is most exciting to you?
“The PACE program’s interdisciplinary approach is what makes it stand out as the gold standard of care. PACE involves so many healthcare professionals – from a primary care physician to a physical therapist – working together to achieve the best outcomes for our participants.”

Dr. James Rummel
Medical Director
Dr. James Rummel joined One Senior Care in 2023 as the Associate Medical Director for LIFE-NWPA. In 2024 he became Medical Director for One Senior Care, overseeing medical care PACE centers in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Kentucky. He sees participants alongside other care team members such as our excellent nursing and therapy departments. He helps coordinate communication both within the internal care team and external medical professionals. He helps to develop policy and procedures for the One Senior Care family. Ensuring the delivery of quality medical care for our participants is a key component of Dr Rummel’s position at Cherry Blossom PACE.
Dr. Rummel attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. During this time, he focused much of his clinical rotation time learning in the urban Pittsburgh region. He developed a holistic approach towards medical care, understanding that high-quality medical care does not stop with prescribing pills and potions. After graduation, Dr Rummel completed residency at Valley Baptist Family Practice Residency Program in Harlingen, Texas. Learning on the southern border continued to impress the multi-factorial approach needed to best care for the most vulnerable among us.
In addition to his clinical interests, Dr. Rummel has served in the international medical mission field in Bolivia, Mexico, Ghana, and Jamaica. These experiences helped to develop him into a provider that handles a wide range of complex medical issues.
Dr. Rummel’s hobbies and interests include skiing, woodworking, playing music, and cooking.
